Rubber Dam Kit 13 Pieces with Sterilisation Cassette

Our 13-piece rubber dam kit, supplied packed in a stainless steel instruments cassette with rubber inserts. The cassette keeps the whole rubber dam set together through cleaning, steam sterilisation and storage, then goes straight onto the tray for chairside use.

• The full 13-piece kit: Brewer clamp forceps, Ainsworth punch, 110 x 110 mm medium frame and 10 rubber dam clamps
• Clamp holder that takes up to 12 clamps (10 supplied, leaving 2 spaces)
• Stainless steel cassette, approx. 29 x 18.5 x 3.5 cm (L x W x D), with rubber inserts that hold the instruments in place
• The whole kit, including the clamp holder, fits inside with the lid closed
• Keeps the rubber dam set together in one place and cuts down handling of contaminated instruments after use
• Cassette made from AISI 304 (18/8) stainless steel, for steam sterilisation in the autoclave

Can I buy the kit or the cassette on its own?

Yes. The Rubber Dam Kit 13 Pieces and the Rubber Dam Instruments Cassette are also sold separately.

Why use a cassette instead of pouches?

A cassette keeps a set together from chairside through washing, sterilisation and storage. That means less handling of contaminated instruments and a quicker set-up, because the whole rubber dam set is laid out in one go.

Can it go in the autoclave?

Yes. The cassette is made from AISI 304 stainless steel for steam sterilisation. Follow your autoclave's loading guidance, and reprocess each instrument as its own instructions advise.

What are the instruments made from?

The cassette is AISI 304 (18/8) stainless steel. The clamps, Brewer clamp forceps and Ainsworth punch are SUS 410J1 stainless steel.
