A CP-12 periodontal probe with a moulded silicone handle. The working end is banded at 3, 6, 9 and 12 millimetres, so pocket depth can be read straight off the probe against the gingival margin during a full-mouth assessment.

They let you read periodontal pocket depth directly. The probe is walked around each tooth and the depth is read where the gingival margin crosses the banding.
