Why have both CP-11 and CP-12 on one probe?
The two scales suit different charting conventions and depths. Having both on a single instrument saves swapping probes partway through an assessment.
Why choose a silicone handle?
A moulded silicone handle is wider and lighter than a solid steel one, so it takes less pinch force to control the instrument. Across a full day of appointments that means noticeably less hand fatigue, and the textured surface keeps its grip when wet or gloved.
What material is this instrument made from?
The working end is hardened Japanese-standard J2 stainless steel, which holds its edge through repeated autoclave cycles, set into a moulded silicone handle. Both are fully autoclavable.
