A kit of 12 rubber dam clamps with a black anti-reflective coating, covering molars, premolars and anteriors for rubber dam isolation during restorative and endodontic work. The black finish helps cut down glare from the operating light for a clearer view of the field, and it is particularly suited to clinical photography, where shiny metal can cause bright spots. The clamps are supplied mounted on a stainless steel clamps tray.
- 12 clamps in one kit: #14, #4, #7, #2, #12A, #2A, #13A, #14A, #8A, #9, #6 and #210
- Molars: #14 and #14A (festooned, for half-erupted and undersized molars; #14A is the larger version), #8A (deeply festooned, grasps the root at the corners), #4 (small upper molars), #7 (lower molars, general purpose), #12A and #13A (serrated jaws for lower right and lower left molars and partially erupted teeth)
- Premolars: #2A (flat, large jaws for lower premolars)
- Anteriors: #9 (a widely used anterior clamp with flat jaws) and #210 (one small and one large jaw)
- Also included: #2 and #6
- Black anti-reflective coating to reduce reflections under the operating light
- Supplied mounted on a stainless steel clamps tray, etched with the InstruDental logo and UKCA mark
- Japanese-standard (JIS) SUS 410J1 stainless steel base
FAQs
What does the black coating do?
Bright stainless steel can reflect the operating light back at you. The black anti-reflective coating reduces that glare, giving a clearer view of the tooth during treatment. It also helps with clinical photography, where shiny metal can cause bright spots in the picture.

How does this differ from the stainless steel kit?
The clamp line-up is the same 12 clamps. Our stainless steel rubber dam clamps kit is plain, uncoated steel, while this kit has the black anti-reflective coating.
Need somewhere to keep loose clamps? See our stainless steel rubber dam clamps tray. Commonly used alongside rubber dam clamp forceps, a rubber dam frame and a rubber dam punch.
