A multi-use plier for various types of bending, including cinching NiTi archwire behind the molar tube. The two ends fit together like a tongue and groove, giving the controlled grip needed to bend a wire that resists permanent deformation.

FAQs
Why does NiTi need a special plier?
Nickel titanium springs back rather than staying where it is bent, so it needs a plier that grips firmly and bends decisively. A standard plier tends to slip and leave the cinch incomplete.
How should the plier be cared for?
Clean and dry it fully before autoclaving, and keep the joint free of debris. Wire-bending pliers last longest when they are not used as cutters, which rounds the beaks and shortens their working life.
What material is this instrument made from?
It is made from hardened Japanese-standard (JIS) SUS 410J1 stainless steel and withstands repeated autoclave sterilisation.
