A distal end cutter with a mini cutting head and a long handle. The smaller head reaches distal to the molar tube in tight or posterior cases, while the longer handle keeps your hand clear of the cheek and improves leverage.
- Mini head reaches tight distal areas behind the molar tube
- Long handle for better leverage and cheek clearance
- Hardened cutting edges for repeated use on orthodontic wire
- Hardened Japanese-standard (JIS) SUS 410J1 stainless steel, fully autoclavable
FAQs
When is the mini head worth having?
In tight posterior access, or where the cheek limits how far a standard head can be introduced. The smaller profile gets to the wire end that a full-size cutter cannot reach comfortably.
How do I get the longest life from a cutter?
Use it only on the wire type and gauge it is intended for. Cutting hardened or oversized wire is what rolls a cutting edge, and a rolled edge cannot be restored.
What material is this instrument made from?
It is made from hardened Japanese-standard (JIS) SUS 410J1 stainless steel and withstands repeated autoclave sterilisation.
