Cutting ligature wire ends and pins after tying. The fine tip gets close to the bracket so no sharp end is left to catch the lip or cheek.
What wire sizes does it cut?
Soft wires, elastic ligatures, and pins up to .012" (0.30mm). This is a delicate micro tip, not rated for heavier archwire — use the standard Distal End Cutter for that.
How do I get the longest life from a cutter?
Use it only on the wire type and gauge it is intended for. Cutting hardened or oversized wire is what rolls a cutting edge, and a rolled edge cannot be restored.
What material is this instrument made from?
