What is the blade end for?
It scrapes away the adhesive that squeezes out around the bracket base once the bracket is seated. Clearing it before curing avoids a hardened ledge that would otherwise need grinding off later.
Can it be autoclaved between patients?
Yes. It is solid hardened stainless steel with no coatings or joints that trap debris, so it goes through a standard autoclave cycle with the rest of your bonding set.
