How is a bite stick used?
The tip is placed on the band and the patient is asked to bite. Their occlusal force seats the band evenly, which is more controlled and more comfortable than pushing it down by hand.
Can it be sterilised between patients?
The metal tip is designed for repeated clinical use. Follow your practice policy for the moulded handle, and check with us before autoclaving if you are unsure of the temperature limit for the plastic.
